My Story
Have you noticed lately how many people you know that have been diagnosed with chronic disease? Cancer, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Digestive Issues, the list goes on. Rates have skyrocketed. What’s going on? Our farming practices have been industrialized. Our food supply has become heavily processed. Even the air we breathe and the water we drink and bathe in has become more polluted. And worse, we’ve been left to our own devices to navigate through this maze of health landmines. Conventional medical doctors have not been trained in nutrition or environmental toxin exposures. That is why I’ve been doing lots of research, experimenting and learning how to achieve and maintain best health levels.
Let me introduce myself. I’m Gail. A smoothie bowl fanatic, caring mother of 2 grown girls and 3 cats (yes, I’m a crazy cat lady!), and an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. I pride myself in keeping up to date on current wellness trends – and am proud to say that by living what I’ve learned, I am in my sixties and am on NO prescription meds! I’m very passionate about sharing my knowledge and keeping as many people as healthy as possible (which is NOT easy these days)!
I trained at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in New York City and learned that bio-individuality means there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to how to eat right. I studied with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. And I thought I knew it all after studying up on nutrition, until I dug deeper and realized the key to health comes from so much more than just what’s on your plate. Toxins, stress, mindset, movement and sleep all play a role. I took a deep dive into the world of toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis and realized our bodies are constantly being bombarded with unsafe chemicals and our detoxification pathyways are becoming overloaded.
I support clients individually and teach groups (including workplace wellness) by guiding them to make sustainable nutrition and lifestyle changes so they can improve their wellbeing and live life on their own terms for many years to come. I help clients increase not only their lifespan, but their healthspan as well. We work through my methodology together, step by step to create an easy to follow blueprint, to learn to live younger and feel better. It’s so important in today’s world to become your own health advocate.
